Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse facility.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Scan barcodes and utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure the safe stacking and organization of goods to maximize warehouse space and prevent accidents.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and workflow schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to operate inventory scanning equipment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
