Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Order Picker, Reach Truck, etc.) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trailers, railcars, and conveyors with accuracy and speed.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards.
- Scan and verify inventory using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required for warehouse driving duties.
