Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to efficiently move palletized materials
- Load/unload trucks with precision while ensuring proper weight distribution
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain organized inventory storage systems with accurate labeling
- Adhere to all safety protocols including PPE requirements and lockout/tagout procedures
- Collaborate with weekend warehouse team to optimize workflow efficiency
- Document daily operations using warehouse management systems
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to safety compliance
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and weight verification
- Reliable weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
