Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-traffic warehouse environments
- Load/unload trailers and containers with strict adherence to weight distribution protocols
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs immediately
- Manage inventory counts using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Maintain clean, organized workstations per OSHA and company standards
- Collaborate with weekend team leads to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-compliant)
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Reliable weekend availability (Sat/Sun 6AM-2PM or 2PM-10PM)
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
