Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate stock counts and proper placement.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies while performing duties.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and logging inventory.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
