Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and stage materials with precision and care.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, stock verification, and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and operational procedures at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment, reporting any maintenance issues immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate order picking and shipping processes.
- Workspace Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work environment to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts (e.g., Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday).
- Background: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counts and strong attention to detail.
