Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) in a safe and efficient manner to load, unload, and move materials.
- Inspect and perform daily maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure equipment safety and functionality.
- Verify accuracy of inventory by counting stock and recording data in the warehouse management system.
- Stack and arrange pallets in designated areas to maximize space and ensure organization.
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (valid license required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
