Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks in a timely and safe manner, ensuring proper securing of cargo.
- Inspect forklifts daily for safety and performance issues and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse floor and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Experience with sit-down and stand-up forklifts preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
