Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, etc.) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Organize and stack inventory in designated storage areas to maximize space utilization.
- Verify accuracy of stock by counting items and logging inventory data into the warehouse management system.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and smooth workflow during busy shifts.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to work weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) as required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
