Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Load, unload, and stack pallets and merchandise onto trailers, racks, and shelves.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S principles.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, including cycle counting and accurate documentation.
- Follow safety protocols strictly to prevent accidents and ensure product integrity.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and labeling.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
