Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts (Class 1/3) to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting stock and logging data into the warehouse management system.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment for maintenance needs and report any safety hazards immediately.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
- Stack and organize pallets in designated storage areas to optimize warehouse space.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily productivity and safety goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping and organizing the dock.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
