Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts to move palletized goods between storage and shipping areas
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Inspect and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance team
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with night crew to optimize loading/unloading operations
- Prepare detailed shift reports and documentation
- Support cross-functional warehouse tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to work independently in low-light conditions
- Preferred: Experience with high-volume distribution centers
