Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, scan, and stock incoming and outgoing shipments to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine checks on forklifts to ensure operational readiness.
- Palletizing & Stacking: Organize and stack products on pallets, shelves, and racks securely to prevent damage and ensure safety.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including load tags and safety reports, accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of previous experience in warehousing or logistics.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Driver’s License: Valid state driver’s license required.
