Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to safely load, unload, and transport inventory within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure machinery is functioning correctly and meets safety standards.
- Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and prevent loss.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Assist in organizing stock, placing orders, and preparing pallets for shipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
- Adhere to all company policies, including safety training and attendance requirements.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid OSHA Forklift Operator Certification is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating counterbalance or reach forklifts.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Background: Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
