Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (Reach Truck, Counterbalance) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-shift safety inspections of all forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning pallets and maintaining organized storage zones.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping and organizing dock areas.
- Document daily logs and material transfers accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and hazard communication.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Reliable attendance and a history of punctuality.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
