Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and onto delivery trucks.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on forklifts and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movements using warehouse management software.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Handle heavy boxes and packages with proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Assist in organizing pallets and maintaining proper storage layouts.
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA Certified Forklift Operator license (Class A or Class B) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to work flexible weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) and rotating shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) strictly.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills and experience with handheld scanners.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
