Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Loading & Unloading: Load and unload trucks with precision, ensuring cargo security and adherence to shipping schedules.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and ensuring accurate record-keeping of merchandise.
- Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area to promote operational efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow and meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Safety Awareness: Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and hazard identification.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
