Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Reach Truck, Forklift, Pallet Jack) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Verify inventory accuracy by checking stock against paperwork and scanning barcodes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all material handling tasks.
- Perform routine safety checks on forklift equipment before and during shifts.
- Assist with cycle counting and inventory organization as required.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a regular basis.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on uneven surfaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory management.
- Communication: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, safety guidelines, and written correspondence.
