Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate sit-down and reach forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Pallet Management: Properly stack and organize pallets to ensure maximum warehouse space utilization and safety compliance.
- Inventory Control: Assist in cycle counting and inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels and documentation.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and report any equipment malfunctions immediately to the supervisor.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies during operations.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays (rotating shifts may apply).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- License: Valid driver's license required for site access.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
