Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise onto and from trucks, pallets, and shelves using hand trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and track incoming and outgoing shipments to maintain real-time inventory records.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by stacking products neatly and clearing pathways.
- Packing & Labeling: Properly pack items for shipment, ensuring all packaging materials are used correctly and labels are applied accurately.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies or issues to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your team.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions to maintenance staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail stocking role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on details to ensure accuracy in inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is required.
- Equipment Training: Forklift certification is a plus but we provide on-the-job training for qualified candidates.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
