Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers safely and efficiently.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to transport materials to and from storage areas.
- Stack and organize inventory on pallets and racks according to safety guidelines.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as required.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills; ability to read pick tickets.
- Willingness to obtain a forklift certification (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday - Sunday).
