Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to move, locate, and stack merchandise within the facility.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Load and unload trailers accurately, ensuring cargo security and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
