Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Material Handling Equipment: Perform daily inspections and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and Unload Trucks: Efficiently load and unload freight onto and off of trailers using proper securing techniques.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by picking, packing, and staging orders for the upcoming week.
- Stock Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse floor by stacking and organizing pallets according to safety guidelines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Report any mechanical issues with equipment immediately to the maintenance team.
Qualifications
- Certified Operator: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Weekend Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) on a rotating or set schedule.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is highly preferred.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License is required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory and order fulfillment.
