As a Weekend Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that our inventory is managed efficiently and safely. We pride ourselves on our company culture, which values hard work, safety, and employee growth.
Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts and adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, cycle counting, and maintaining accurate stock records within the warehouse management system.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all 5S standards and housekeeping procedures.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Damage Control: Identify and report damaged goods or equipment immediately to the supervisor to prevent further issues.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Focus: Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Equipment: Familiarity with RF scanners or warehouse management software is a plus but not required.
