Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure safety and compliance with OSHA standards.
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting stock and completing necessary paperwork/logs.
- Organize warehouse storage areas to ensure maximum space utilization and efficient retrieval of goods.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing required PPE and following operational procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of previous forklift operating experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions (indoor/outdoor).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory.
