Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure all safety protocols and equipment functionality are met.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by properly tagging and organizing stock in designated storage areas.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and shipping schedules.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including OSHA standards, and report any hazards immediately.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of clutter to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (CDL Class A/B not required, but preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order verification.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
