Atlantic Coast Logistics is currently seeking dedicated Forklift Operators to join our operations in Virginia Beach, VA. We pride ourselves on safety, efficiency, and providing a supportive work environment for our employees.
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our supply chain, ensuring that products are moved, stacked, and stored with precision and care.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of forklift equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with OSHA standards.
- Stack pallets and merchandise according to company safety guidelines and inventory requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping and organizing the warehouse floor.
- Assist with inventory control processes, including cycle counting and checking stock levels.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for material handling and workplace safety.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Valid Forklift License required).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
