As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring that our inventory is managed accurately and efficiently. We are looking for individuals who are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and ready to work hard.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy against delivery tickets and purchase orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of pallets for shipping and receiving, utilizing shrink wrap and banding equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding shipment status and any potential inventory discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid, unexpired Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Ability to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) and rotating shifts as required.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and hazard identification.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, weighing, and labeling.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not required.
