Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, following all safety protocols.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Organize and stack inventory in designated storage areas to maximize space utilization.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S standards.
- Accurately update inventory records and log material movements into the warehouse management system.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (valid license required).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
