Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery trucks.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure safety compliance and proper functioning.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Accurately document inventory movements, pallet counts, and stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Assist in the receiving and shipping processes, including verifying freight contents and preparing necessary paperwork.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Forklift Certification required or willing to obtain).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
