Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your team.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the receiving, storing, and organizing of inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and easy access.
- Load/Unload: Perform the loading and unloading of trucks in a timely manner, ensuring cargo is secure and damage-free.
- Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is preferred; willing to obtain certification if currently unlicensed.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Documentation: Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, safety labels, and operating procedures.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
