Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and inspect incoming shipments against packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using proper packaging materials to prevent damage.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and cycle counts to ensure stock integrity.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (loading dock areas).
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
