Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Load, unload, move, and stack materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Inventory Management: Verify accuracy of stock counts and maintain accurate inventory logs and digital records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure proper functioning.
- Material Handling: Organize and prioritize stock efficiently to streamline warehouse operations and meet production deadlines.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator license and certification (must be presented at interview).
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach Truck) preferred but not always required for reliable candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motion tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
