Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) to load, unload, move, and stack merchandise safely.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and order fulfillment.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline shipping and receiving processes.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Process paperwork and digital logs accurately for inventory tracking.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory management systems.
