Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
- Load and unload trucks accurately, ensuring inventory is preserved and ready for processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Perform inventory counts and stock rotation to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Follow all safety protocols and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Complete daily logs and reports regarding handling activities and inventory status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience operating forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, or Pallet Jack) is required.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Basic computer literacy for logging work activities.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects throughout the shift.
