Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse safely.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage inventory according to customer orders.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff regarding inventory status and potential issues.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA 10 or 30 preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills for scanning barcodes and logging data.
