Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues before operation and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts by scanning barcodes and verifying stock against warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient workflow.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for material handling and shipping.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CP, LF, or HF).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management software.
