Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Verify and count stock items, ensuring accurate inventory levels and proper tagging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Assist with general warehouse duties such as packing, labeling, and order fulfillment as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (must be present at time of hire).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50+ pounds frequently.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand shipping labels and orders.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong commitment to safety and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
