Responsibilities
- Operate industrial forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks, railcars, or conveyor belts.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Verify inventory counts and document load information accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
