Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move pallets and heavy loads.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks, railcars, and storage areas while adhering to weight limits.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing stock.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and documentation to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) or willingness to obtain one through our training program.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for reading labels, calculating inventory, and handling paperwork.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
