Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers efficiently.
- Perform routine safety inspections on all forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock counts using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Ensure the warehouse adheres to 5S standards by keeping aisles clear and organized.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Perform order picking, palletizing, and shrink-wrapping with precision and attention to detail.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) or valid forklift license is required.
- Proven experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as business needs arise.
