Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain accident-free workplace records
- Optimize inventory control systems with WMS software and cycle counting
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics for temperature-controlled facilities
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity and cost reduction initiatives
- Manage cross-functional operations with transportation and quality control teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in cold chain or logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation credentials
- Proficient in WMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
- Valid Alaska driver's license with clean record
- Experience with union labor negotiations preferred
