Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure data accuracy and minimize losses.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates to maximize productivity and morale.
- Optimize workflow and warehouse layout to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Manage shift schedules, labor planning, and workload distribution.
- Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team effectively.
- Forklift certification (required) and willingness to cross-train on other equipment.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience is accepted.
