Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers using proper material handling techniques.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels match warehouse databases.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with warehouse managers and team members to streamline operations.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain one within 30 days.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
