Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and organized according to safety protocols.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of machinery and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and ensure stock locations are clearly marked.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse flow and meet production targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Basic computer literacy for logging hours and inventory tracking.
