Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the warehouse and loading dock safely.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks using proper equipment and techniques.
- Inspect forklifts for maintenance needs and report any safety hazards immediately.
- Organize stock and inventory to ensure a neat and efficient workspace.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production targets.
- Perform routine cleaning of equipment and work areas.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA 10/30 or equivalent) required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and label reading.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
