Responsibilities
- Operation: Safely operate forklifts and heavy machinery to load and unload trucks and move materials within the warehouse.
- Maintenance: Inspect equipment daily to ensure it is in safe operating condition and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of goods using warehouse management systems.
- Safety: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Certification (CDL is a plus).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Background: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical: Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Skills: Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
