Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to loading docks.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure safe operation and compliance with safety regulations.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain proper documentation for all shipments.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies regarding material handling and workplace safety.
- Clean work areas and maintain a neat, organized, and safe environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL Class A/B not required, but preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to use handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Reliable transportation and a proven track record of punctuality.
