Job Overview:
We are looking for detail-oriented individuals who can operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our supply chain, ensuring products are moved accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all OSHA regulations.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers with precision.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, including scanning items and updating stock logs.
- Perform routine safety inspections of the forklift and warehouse equipment before and after each shift.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient workflow.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory management.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and warehouse staff.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends if necessary.
