Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning pallets and verifying stock levels.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse layout to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory scanning systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
